Voters will select party nominees for federal, state and local offices. Ballots may also include proposed statewide constitutional amendments and local issues, depending on the voter’s jurisdiction.
Missouri voters may request a Republican, Democratic or Libertarian ballot. Voters who do not want to participate in a party primary may request a nonpartisan, issues-only ballot when measures are included in their jurisdiction.
Voters are encouraged to verify their assigned polling location and review a sample ballot before heading to the polls. Both are available through the Missouri Secretary of State’s voter information lookup system. In most cases, voters must cast their ballots at their assigned polling place.
An acceptable form of photo identification should be brought to the polling location.
Polls will remain open until 7 p.m. Voters who are in line when the polls close will still be allowed to cast a ballot.
