According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Eagle Rock Marina on Saturday when a 58-year-old man from Cassville was driving the watercraft when he made a sharp right turn causing him to lose his balance which caused the watercraft to capsize.
The report says that the man went under the water a failed to resurface.
The body of the driver was recovered on Sunday and positively identified.
This is the fourth boating fatality worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2026.
