According to a post on the Harrison Golden Goblin Football Facebook Page, the team had made the trip to Fayetteville on Saturday to attend an Fellowship of Christian Athletes event then later attend the University of Arkansas Razorback Football game against Tulsa.
After the Razorback win over the Golden Hurricane, the team encountered a bus breakdown heading back to Harrison due to a broken belt.
Harrison officials reached out to other school districts and eventually Springdale answered the call and got a bus over to the stranded group which allowed them to complete their trip home.
Springdale officials tell the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette that the bus was returned to Springdale on Monday.
The Goblin Football Team and School District thank their counterparts in Springdale for assisting them in getting their team home.
