Lindsey Perenchio is a familiar favorite to both Grand Country and general Branson audiences alike, and now she’s back full time at the Comedy Jamboree.

Originally from Harvard, Illinois, Lindsey was performing ever since she could remember.

“I did a lot of dancing and performing when I was younger,” she said. “And my sister was a singer, so of course I started singing too. We were always performing.”

During High School, Lindsey began taking voice lessons and even had a teacher who would accompany her on a harp.

“You know, most instructors use a piano or guitar,” she laughed. “But a harp?!? That’s pretty unique.”

Lindsey worked on all aspects of music, specifically opera and musical theater, where she excelled both on and off stage. In fact, when she was 19, Lindsey got to perform for Radio City Music Hall for two years.

She eventually went to college at Millikin University where she graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater with a Minor in Dance. After graduation, Lindsey was “mostly a choreographer,” lining out shows in Chicago, Colorado, Virginia, Orlando and New York. One day while working in Chicago, Lindsey got a call from a friend asking if she’d be interested in performing at Silver Doller City in the “Dickens’ Christmas Carol.”

Once the folks at Silver Dollar City saw Lindsey, they kept her plenty busy. She performed as part of “just about every show they had out there,” as well as on the Showboat Branson Belle, as in Echo Hollow “for a million years.” She was also a part of the Grand Country family before becoming a mom, as well as the “Million Dollar Quartet” show, “Dean Z The Ultimate Elvis.” Plus, Lindsey choreographed local shows like “Red, HOT … & Blue” and “Shrek The Musical” at the Welk.

After several years away from Grand Country, Lindsey is back in the “Comedy Jamboree” show, and she’s awful excited.

“The cast and crew are all so talented and so much fun to work with,” she said. “We’re just getting started, and I’m pretty excited about this year!”

Lindsey is a momma to her son Lindan, 11, as well as two dogs – Chip and Jack, and two cats – Goose and Peanut. (She said clearly she let Lindan name them)

Favorite Food: Just a basic salad. Or pasta. Not a pasta salad though. Pasta has to hot, a salad has to be cold.

Favorite Song: Two fine People by Cat Stevens

Favorite TV Show: Sons of Anarchy (It’s STILL my favorite)

Favorite Movie: Sordid Lives

Favorite Entertainers: Joni Mitchell is my favorite. Also, I love Lin Manuel Miranda

What’s Something People May Be Surprised to Learn About You: I can crochet. I can also garden like you would not believe!
