The release below is from the Branson School District:
What comes after high school? For some students, it may be a four-year college. For others, it could be a technical program, community college, military service or jumping straight into the workforce. Branson High School is bringing a wide range of possibilities together in one place at its annual College & Career Fair.
The event will be held at Branson High School located at 935 Buchanan Road on October 19 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Area high school students and families from Forsyth, Hollister, Blue Eye, Bradleyville and School of the Ozarks are also invited to attend.
The College & Career Fair gives students an opportunity to connect directly with representatives and gather information about the many paths available after graduation. Families can explore options, ask questions and begin making connections that can help students take their next steps with confidence.
“Students don’t all have the same path after high school, and that’s exactly why this event is so valuable,” said Sarah Loyd, BHS 9th Grade Counselor and AP Coordinator. “We want students to see the possibilities that are out there, ask questions and discover opportunities they may not have considered before. We’re excited to welcome our students, families and neighboring schools for an evening focused on what’s next.”
Students in grades 9-12 and their families are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Branson High School at (417) 334-6511.
