A Texas man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 14 South in rural Marion County.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m.
Investigators said a motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 14 when it crossed the center line and collided with a southbound SUV.
The motorcycle rider, identified as Michael Keith Knox, 79, of Bellevue, Texas, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. He was pronounced dead, and his body was held at the Marion County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities reported no other injuries as a result of the crash.
At the time of the collision, weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry according to the ASP Report.
