According to a Facebook post from the Capps-Batavia Fire Department, traffic on Highway 65 just north of the Bear Creek Springs intersection was blocked both directions for around 90 minutes due to a two-vehicle accident.
While the crash was worked by Capps-Batavia personnel along with first responders from the Harrison Fire Department, North Arkansas Regional EMS, and Law Enforcement, traffic was rerouted using Old Highway 65 at Bear Creeks Springs, now know as Naples Road, along with Highway 62/412 to Highway 392.
While that accident scene was being cleared-up, another crash happened along Highway 392 at Highway 397 just south of Harrison causing a slow-down on that alternate route.
The post states that both accidents did result in injuries though specifics were released on the injuries.
