The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is wearing pink badges during October to help raise awareness for breast cancer and show support for those impacted by the disease. According to a recent post highlighted on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, deputies hope the pink badges serve as a visible reminder of community support and breast cancer awareness efforts.
A spokesperson message shared on the department’s Facebook page stated:
“We hope members of our community notice the pink badges when they see our deputies out and about. Each time that badge is seen, it is a small reminder that we are standing together in support…”
October is recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and many law enforcement agencies across the country participate by wearing pink badges, patches, or apparel to help promote awareness and encourage support for those battling breast cancer.
