The Hollister Grape & Fall Festival takes over Historic Downing Street on Saturday, October 10. The annual celebration, organized by the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce, features a day of live entertainment, vendors, competitions and activities for the entire family.
This year’s festival is expected to include along with food, crafts and other local businesses. Festival activities are scheduled from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and admission is free.
Many of the festivals annual events are back according to a release from the chamber beginning with the Color Me Grape 5k 2026 from 9 to 11 a.m. The family and pet-friendly run is sponsored by the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Hollister, with proceeds benefiting the Hollister Schools Foundation.
Four-legged festivalgoers will get their chance in the spotlight during the Dogs Gone Grape Pup Pageant 2026 from 11 a.m. to noon. Dogs will compete by showing off their looks and talents, with proceeds from the event benefiting the Branson Humane Society.
One of the festival’s signature attractions, the annual grape stomp, gets underway at 2 p.m. Teams of four will compete in youth and adult divisions, stomping real grapes in whiskey barrels as they compete for the Grape Stomp Champion title.
