According to the National Weather Service, sunny skies will prevail throughout Saturday, helping temperatures rebound into the lower 60s during the afternoon across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas.
The clear and calm pattern will continue tonight, allowing temperatures to drop back into the upper 30s and lower 40s by Sunday morning.
The Lakes Region is expected to return to above normal temperatures next week, but not as warm as the recent heatwave. High temperatures are expected to return to the 80s by mid-week with overnight lows in the 50s.
No rain is in the forecast through the upcoming week.
