According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 125 in Rueter.
A 78-year-old Marionville man was driving a three-wheel motorcycle southbound when the vehicle ran off the roadway. It then went airborne across another roadway before striking a tree, the report states.
A passenger on the motorcycle, a 74-year-old Marionville woman, suffered serious injuries and was flown by Life Flight to Mercy Hospital Springfield.
Meanwhile, the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Springfield.
Both occupants were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.
