According to a release from the city, the clean-up, coordinated with GFL, will consist of an additional truck coming through on normal pick-up days next week that can collect bigger items including furniture, non-freon appliances, carpet, wrapped mattresses and box springs, and small items bagged or boxed.
There are several items that are not eligible to be included in the pick-up that will occur next week. Those items include electronic waste, yard waste, household waste like paints, tires and other auto parts, and items over six feet long.
More information can be found on the City’s Website as well as with the interview with Chris Snyder from GFL and Donna Braymer for the City of Harrison from Thursday’s Around the Table Program which can be found on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
