According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Report, a 61-year-old man from Branson lost control of his car on wet pavement and crossed the center line and hit a van driven by a 61-year-old man from Kimberling City. The car continued off the pavement and caught fire.
The Branson man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment. The other driver was not injured according to the report.
