Safety reminders for heat safety include limiting outdoor activities, especially during the afternoon, drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol or excessive caffeine, take frequent breaks in air-conditioned locations,
never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles, and check on elderly neighbors, family members, and others who may be vulnerable to heat-related illness.
Forecasters do see the Heatwave ending this week as a front will bring shower chances late Wednesday with cooler temperatures on Thursday.
