Charles Stacy Mills, 73, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at home on September 14, 2026, surrounded by his family. Charles was born on July 5, 1953, in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Frank and Caroline (Woolum) Mills.
Charles had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found great enjoyment in fishing and spending time in nature. He was also an excellent chef who took pride in preparing good food and sharing it with the people he loved. Above all, Charles cherished his family, especially the time he spent with his grandchildren, creating memories that they will carry with them for years to come.
Charles had many interests that reflected his unique personality. He was a gun enthusiast, a devoted fan of John Wayne and his classic movies, and enjoyed listening to the music of Journey. These simple pleasures, along with his love of the outdoors and his family, were a meaningful part of the life he shared with those around him.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honored to be a veteran. His time in the Navy was a meaningful chapter of his life, reflecting his dedication, courage, and willingness to serve others. He carried the pride of his military service with him throughout his life and was grateful for the experiences and memories made during his years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Caroline and his wife Lavita.
He is survived by his children Christi and her husband Kevin Jackson, Brandon and his wife Heather Durham, and Justin and wife Chelsea Mills, his grandchildren Haley, Weston, Hunter, Dez, Tori, Logan, Zowie, Coe, Casen, Mexia, Nation, Abigail, Evelyn, Caraline, Derrick, Brock, Logan J., and Cambrie. Also, Charles leaves his great grandchildren, Oaklyn, Briggs, Lincoln, Sophia, Forrest, Haizlee, Emmy, Easton, Haddie, Tucker, Sawyer, Charlotte, Clara Ann, Amos, Asher and Titus.
He will be remembered for the memories he made, the love he gave, and the special place he held in the hearts of his family.
