According to a release from the city, the meeting will reveal and seek citizen input on the Legislative Priorities at both the Local and State Levels for 2027.
In previous information released, the city has identified 16 priorities to be considered by the board and city officials for the coming year, including Reforming of the City’s Permit Process, 76 CID Expansion, Development of a Branson Landing Entertainment District, and a City Workforce Housing Initiative.
Priorities the city is asking state lawmakers to work on include Tourism Tax Modernization, Highway 76 and 65 Gateway Authority along with Local Health and Safety Authority for Extended-Stay Lodging and Group Homes.
The public is invited to give input on these priorities at the special meeting scheduled for 6:00 Tuesday evening at City Hall.
Those unable to attend can submit written comments to Publiccomment@bransonmo.gov through Friday afternoon according to the release from the city.
