Alice “Faye” Watkins, 75, of Omaha, Arkansas peacefully passed away on October 2, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 16, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of G.C. “Pat” Patton and Bonnie June Donaldson Patton.
Faye was a mother of four, Mamo of 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She deeply loved them all. She wanted to be surrounded by family always.
Faye was a member of the Miracle Lighthouse Church for many years and Sanctuary Pentecostal Church. She loved to dress up her grandchildren and take them to church. She tried to teach them about Jesus. She loved the Lord with all her heart and everything she had to offer. Faye had a big heart and dearly loved to help kiddos and animals. She was the family’s self-made vet. If you took her a hurt animal, she and God would rehabilitate it back to good health.
Growing up she would push us to do whatever we wanted to accomplish. If we failed at something, she would encourage us not to give up and to continue until we perfected whatever we were trying to achieve. Faye was very competitive and didn’t believe in “letting you win”.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents Pat and Bonnie and her grandparents Leonardo and Lula Aspromonte.
She is survived by Samantha and James McGehee of Omaha, Arkansas; Serina and Robert Mansfield of Omaha, Arkansas; Jeff and Nicki Long of Blue Eye, Missouri; and Adam and Kendra Watkins of Geneva, Alabama. Also, she leaves behind her grandchildren; Crystal, Jamie, J.P., Cameron, Trista, James, Justin, Jonathan, Josiah, Tori, Kate, Brea, Owen, Hemi, Makayla, Jaydon, Levi, Ethan, Sadie, and Gideon.
