During a recent visit to KHOZ’s “Around the Table” program, Main Street Harrison Director Lauri Rottmayer said the 50-50 Grant program can be used for improvement for the front of buildings including facades, awnings, and signs.
Rottmayer adds that the grants can be between $2,000 and $2,500. The applications need to include a detailed project description when submitting so when the projects are selecting, they can be forwarded to the Historic District for final approval. Once approved, the successful applicants have until April of 2027 to complete the project.
The deadline for applications is this Tuesday.
