Dunstan Regan, age 67, formerly of Moorpark, California, who recently moved to Branson, Missouri, died at his home after a lengthy period of declining health.
Dunstan was the youngest of five children born to Maurice and Mary Elizabeth (Dolphin) Regan shortly after the family’s move from Pennsylvania to California. An accomplished surfer throughout high school and college, Dunstan graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in communications where he was involved in the campus radio station. He embarked on a career as a serial entrepreneur running a bartending school, a photography business, and for the past 10 years, Swing Set Pros, installing custom backyard playgrounds whose motto was, “Saving marriages one swing set at a time.”
Dunstan is survived by his three children: Casey Regan of Beaverton, Oregon; Markie Regan of Portland, Oregon; and Destiny Regan of Winterhaven, Florida. His only marriage ended in divorce. Other surviving family members include Maurice Regan of Pembroke, New Hampshire; Shawn Regan of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Brett Regan of Santa Clarita, California. Dunstan’s parents and sister, Maria preceded him in death.
There will be no service. Dunstan’s ashes will be spread in Big Sur, California.
