According to a post from the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, at approximately 1:20 a.m., fire crews responded to a two-alarm structure fire on Horizon Ct. in Branson West.
Southern Stone County crews were joined by units from the Branson Fire Department in battling the blaze. Crews quickly attacked the blaze and made a search to confirm that no one was still in the residence.
Firefighters were assisted on the scene by the Stone County Sheriff’s Office and Stone County Ambulance District.
The residence and a nearby vehicle were completely destroyed by the fire with the cause of the fire still under investigation according to the release.
