In Loving Memory of Eugene Raymond “Gene” Fischer
Eugene Raymond “Gene” Fischer, 81, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Gene was born on December 21, 1944, in East Chicago, Indiana, to Lawrence and Marion (Ledna) Fischer. Throughout his 81 years, Gene built a life centered around the people he loved most. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.
Above all else, family was an important part of Gene’s life. The time spent together, the stories shared, and the memories made with him will be cherished by his loved ones and treasured for generations to come.
Gene is survived by his children, Toni (Doug) McManness, Nichelle (Michael Cook) Patrick, and Bryan (Deborah) Fischer; his grandchildren, Ashton (Billy Breedlove) McManness, Jordan (Jesse) McNeil, Shelby (Damon) Berry, Ryan (Eden Ross) Patrick, Makayla Brannon, Layton (Ashley) Fischer, and Clayton (Addi) McManness; his 13 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Melody (Patrick) Moser. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marion Fischer, and his brother, Keith Fischer.
Gene’s life will be remembered through the family he loved, the memories they shared, and the lasting place he will forever hold in their hearts.
A celebration of Gene’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas, in appreciation for the compassionate care provided during Gene’s final days.
