Robert Paul “Bob” Scheibe was born January 12, 1958, in Fulton, Nebraska, to Wayne and Virginia Scheibe (Horn). He married Linda Dailey on November 11, 1978, in Blair, Nebraska. Following their wedding, Bob and Linda made their home in Omaha, where they raised their family and Bob worked as a semi-truck mechanic.
In 2002, Bob and Linda moved to Missouri, where Bob went to work as a maintenance technician for Wyndham Resorts. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping, and he took great care of his family. During the last ten years of his life, he also lovingly cared for his beloved dog, Skully.
Bob passed away on August 10, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Scheibe, in 2016; his sister, Tammy Scheibe and brother Gayle Scheibe.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Jacob Scheibe and wife Erin of Ozark, Jessica Owens of Iowa City, Iowa, and Jill Marie Scheibe of Hollister; his brother, Dave Scheibe; his sisters, Sue Welchert and Melody Scheibe Ebert, all of Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Riley, Kate, Lexi, Grayden, and Izzy.
