A planned power outage in parts of Branson early Friday morning could impact some traffic signals.
According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, several signals may go dark between Midnight and 4:00 am.
MoDOT Reminds Traveling Public to Treat Dark Signals Like a 4-Way Stop. Signals that could be impacted include:
Missouri Route 248 at intersections with Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, James F. Epps Road (Yellow Route), and U.S. Route 65 on & off-ramps.
Branson Hills Parkway at intersections with Wintergreen Road and U.S. Route 65 on & off-ramps.
Bee Creek Road and Buccaneer Boulevard
Missouri Route 76 and Taney County Route F at the U.S. Route 65 on & off-ramps and the Outer Road east of U.S. Route 65.
Utility crews are scheduled for a power outage that may cause some MoDOT signals to go dark. If you approach a dark signal, treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Look carefully in all directions before proceeding. Take turns, be patient, and show courtesy to others at the intersection.
