Jacqueline A. Ridge, lovingly known as Jackie, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2026, in Branson, Missouri, at the age of 73.

Jackie was born on June 13, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Eugene and Shirley (Jones) Westcott. She was raised in Ferguson, Missouri, and upon graduating from McCluer High School in St. Louis, she pursued higher education at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, where she earned her master’s degree in education. Jackie dedicated her career to teaching in public schools, touching the lives of many students with her kindness and dedication.

A woman of great compassion, Jackie cared selflessly for others, always striving to make those around her feel happy and welcomed. Her love for family was boundless, and her grandchildren were her most treasured joys. Jackie had a special fondness for God’s furry companions, especially her beloved cats, and found peace in watching ducks in their natural habitat. A devoted sports fan, she was a die-hard supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and faithfully followed the Kansas City Chiefs football games. Jackie also enjoyed indulging in her favorite beverage, Dr. Pepper, which was a delightful treat she never missed.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Shirley Westcott, and her brother, Nelson Westcott. She is survived by her loving sons, Stephen Ridge (Jenna), Aaron Ridge (Jacob); daughters Jennifer Riley and Rebecca Seabolt (Scott); cherished grandchildren Kimber Hustead, Brayden Hustead, Abigail Dicks, Adeline Seabolt, Azariah Seabolt, Anna Seabolt, Aijalon Seabolt, and a beloved granddaughter to join the family; as well as her brothers Mark Westcott (Bonnie), and Clay Westcott.
