The High School Football Regular Season winds down in Missouri while Week 8 is in the books in Arkansas.
Besides the Branson Pirates win over Rogersville to claim the Ozark Mountain Conference Title 28-21 (covered in another story on MOARK Sports), the Forsyth Panthers pick up a win as they beat Hollister 64-28 which earns the Panthers their fourth win of the season while the Tigers remain winless.
Reeds Spring falls at home to Clever to close out the regular season 40-7.
In Arkansas, Week 8 of the regular season was special for Harrison, as they celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Goblin Mascot for Harrison High School, and the Goblins celebrated in a big way with a 63-23 win over Dardanelle. Goblin Sky Lee scored on both sides of the ball in the first quarter, including an interception return for a touchdown then later a rushing touchdown. The Goblins scored 28 points in the second quarter to cruise to their third straight win, a 5-3 overall record, and a 3-2 mark in conference play.
The Missouri Schools will wait until the final District Standings are released to find out next week’s opponents while the Goblins will play their final regular season road game at Alma.
