The two teams that kicked off the season in the Pella Windows and Doors Border Battle in August are the last two MOARK schools still playing in the High School Football Season.
The Harrison Goblins would be playing this week regardless as it is Week 10 of the High School Football Season. The Goblins however are facing the same scenario that the team they beat in that opening week, the Branson Pirates, are facing.
The Pirates, after winning their opening round Missouri Class 5 District Contest at home against Willard last Friday, will now move on to the District Semifinals at Neosho to face a Wildcat team that defeated them to end last season. It is win or done for the Pirates for this season.
The Goblins are in the same situation as they close out the regular season at home against Morrilton. Both teams are 3-3 in 5A West play, tied for the fourth and final spot in the playoff race setting up this Friday as a winner take all contest to qualify for postseason.
Both games this Friday will begin at 7:00 and can be heard on MOARK Sports with the Morrilton-Harrison game also on New Country 1029 and the Branson-Neosho contest on Legends 1063.
