Edward “Wally” Wallace Clemons, age 76, of Kissee Mills, Missouri, passed away September 14, 2026. He entered this life on November 12, 1949, the son of Luther and Dorothy (Roysdon) Clemons in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Wally was first married to Denise (Saylor) DelGuidice, with whom he had two children, Jessica and William. He later married Debra Fenol on February 16, 2010, and they shared sixteen years of marriage.
An avid animal lover, Wally was especially well known for his chickens. He bred world-renowned chickens and kept laying hens over the years. He could often be found selling fresh eggs at farmers markets and fairs, earning him the affectionate nickname “The Egg Man.” What began as a love for raising chickens became something he was known for throughout his community and beyond.
Wally was also deeply proud of his service in the United States Army. His military service held special meaning to him as he carried on a multigenerational family legacy of Army veterans. He was honored to be part of that tradition and proud to have served his country.
Those who knew Wally will also remember him as a storyteller. He always had a tale to tell, a memory to share, or a story that could keep those around him listening. His stories, his love for his animals, and the unmistakable presence of “The Egg Man” will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Wally is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Debra Clemons; daughter, Jessica Pabon and husband, David; son, William Clemons; stepdaughter, Ashley Fenol; and grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Dorothy Clemons, and his brother, Ronald Clemons.
The family would like to express their appreciation to everyone who has reached out, offered kind words, and shared memories of their dad.
