With hearts filled with love, we celebrate the life of Ronald Joe Brown, who passed from this earthly life to eternal rest on October 31, 2026, in Texarkana, TX, at the age of 64. He was a resident of Queen City, TX.
Ronald was born on April 11, 1962, in Dermott, AR, to Glenda Sue (Robertson) Brown and the late Hosey Joe Brown.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hosey Joe Brown; brother, Terry Wayne Brown; granddaughter, Abagail Grace Swafford; and uncles, William Lloyd Robertson and Gary Leon Robertson.
He is survived by his mother, Glenda Sue Brown of Queen City, TX; daughter, Branda LaShea Swafford and husband Clayton of Vendor, AR; brother, Timothy Paul Brown and wife Judi of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Austin Wyatt Swafford, Amy Marie Swafford, Andrew Eugene Swafford, and Aaron Walter Swafford; uncles, Randall Robertson of Russellville, AR, and Odis Robertson of Hector, AR; aunts, Brenda Traylor of San Antonio, TX, Teresa McEntyre of Dardanelle, AR, and Johnita Ashmore of Russellville, AR; sister-in-law, Velah Jean (Henson) Brown of Harrison, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends; and his wonderful church family from Open Door Baptist Church in Queen City, TX.
Ronald faithfully attended Open Door Baptist Church in Queen City, TX, and loved serving there with his mother and many friends.
A memorial service in Ronald’s honor will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM, at Open Door Baptist Church (1203 US-59 N, Queen City, TX 75572). Following cremation, Ronald will be interred at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector, AR.
