The Veterans of the Ozarks will crown a chili champion this weekend during its annual October Fall Fest & Chili Cook-Off.
On Saturday, October 24, the Ozarks-based military service organization invites the public to break out their best chili recipe and join in on the day of fun, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Clarion Hotel in Branson. Event attendees will be able to purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket, which will provide them with the option of sampling and judging all the entries in the chili cook-off.
The people’s choice winners of the cook-off will be awarded with “fabulous prizes,” and a cash bar will also be open for all attendees to partake.
The mission of Veterans of the Ozarks is to foster camaraderie amongst United States veterans, active military members and their families; as well as to serve veterans, the military and the community and to help advocate on behalf of all veterans. Membership into this organization is open to any active, inactive, retiree, or veteran, and their spouse, who have served the United States of America honorably.
