A motorcycle vs. SUV crash during rainy, wet conditions Tuesday morning claims the lives of two people on the motorcycle.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, the SUV was pulling out of a parking lot onto Highway 392 in Batavia around 7:40 am. The report states that the SUV was heading eastbound but pulled into the westbound lane hitting the motorcycle head on.
The driver of the motorcycle, 19-year-old Isaiah Riddell of Jasper along with a minor passenger on the motorcycle died as a result of the crash. The identity of the SUV driver was not listed in the report but was not reported as injured.
The deaths were the 399th and 400th fatalities in traffic crashes reported to the Arkansas State Police in 2026.
