Daniel Owen Hill, age 50, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2026. He entered this life on August 25, 1976, in Sandwich, Illinois, the son of William “Neal” and Frances (Toberman) Hill. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and uncle, Stan Toberman.
Daniel dedicated his life to all the work that he did, no matter how big or small the job was. Which included being the operations manager at King’s Castle Theatre, where he was surrounded by many friends and family. Daniel also had his own power washing company Elite Property Maintenance, where those skills were passed down by his father and brother. Aside from those things, no matter what the task was at hand, Daniel would always be willing to help anyone in need whether it was a lifelong friend, family member, or a stranger he just met. Daniel loved being there for people, it was his true passion.
Daniel loved watching football on Sundays with his son, Dalton. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Tony Stewart was his favorite driver, before he retired. In his free time, he enjoyed grilling for family members and smoking BBQ! To get away from it all, he would enjoy the thrill of going to the casinos.
Above all, Daniel will be remembered for his unwavering desire to be there for people for all reasons in life. No matter who you were to him, you became someone he cared for deeply. He would give anyone the shirt off his back, then go buy them more to go with it.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever a part of the lives he touched.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Tara Hill; son, Dalton Hill of Reeds Spring, Missouri; stepson, Kaivyn Boan of Reeds Spring, Missouri; two stepdaughters: Kaidynce Boan and Kailyn Boan both of Reeds Spring, Missouri; two brothers: Bryan Hill of Paw Paw, Illinois, and David Hill of Iowa; sister, Lori Haas of Waterloo, Iowa; and mother of his child, Corrine Powell-Hill.
A celebration of life is going to take place at the Kings Castle Theatre on September 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
