The Fantasy Football Draft season is right around the corner, and in the Branson Dynasty League, no team is looking as pitiful as the Foodie Fanch team, owned by John Fancher.
“I knew we shouldn’t have drafted so many Chiefs,” said a somber Fancher. “I let a set of red and yellow goggles cloud my vision for this franchise and for that, I apologize.”
In addition to current Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, Noah Gray, Tyquan Thornton and Jaylen Royals, The Foodies also have former Chiefs Isahia Pacheco, Hollywood Brown, and known criminal and 2-time Chief Kareem Hunt. The top ranked defense in the league, the Houston Texans, and Greek God-looking, Top 15 primed Trevor Lawrence remain the lone bright spots on the roster.
“We’re trying to rebuild, but with Mahomes looking almost as old as Aaron Rodgers and Tyreek Hill still in rehab, I mean, recovery, it’s going to be a tough season.”
According to insiders, Fancher is looking to make a move or 2 before the draft in an attempt to be terrible enough to get the No. 1 pick in a historic 2027 draft.
“We’re looking at next year,” a grinning Fancher said. “Unless someone offers to trade us Kelce … Then we’re so back, baby!”
